Dear Friends,

We appreciate you stopping by North County Christian’s website.  Here’s a little bit about us. NCCS is a preschool-8th grade school, founded in 1976. Our campus is located in beautiful Atascadero, California.  We are a Christian school through and through, as God’s Word permeates every facet of what we do.  Our faculty is continually being updated and our enrollment is continually increasing, the combination of which has created positive momentum on our campus.  We are so humbled to be permitted by God to be a part of the incredible plan that He not only has for NCCS, but for Atascadero and the surrounding area.  Words truly cannot express how thrilling it is to watch as God opens and closes doors of opportunity for our school, staff, and families.  We are excited to see what He is going to do next!

In 2022, NCCS received reaccreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).  We are also members of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).  On our campus, we take academics very seriously, and strive to prepare our students for that phase of their education. We have a steady stream of alumni that stop by and keep us posted about the great opportunities that have been opened up to them, in part due to the skills and preparation given to them at NCCS.  We consider it a high honor to be entrusted by the Lord to help build these students into the amazing men and women of God that they were created to be.

The theme verse for this year is Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”  Our mission is to empower our students and families with the Word of God to effect change in the world. We have a desire to build up the students, as well as their families.  Our focus is to not only protect our children from the enemy, but also to prepare them for stepping into our world with the purpose of being a conduit of change for Jesus.
